Thanks to Motic microscopes, you can observe and image your experiments in microfluidics at an affordable price: routine droplet generation monitoring, microfluidic chip check, channel and even cell culture observation, are made easy! It can easily be coupled with a camera on its trinocular tube, and offers a low-cost yet effective entry-point in setting up your microfluidics lab.

It consists in an inverted stand which is way easier to use when it comes to microfluidics experiments. Also, with an extra long working distance condenser, you have up to 72 mm of free space above the stage to setup your chip. It comes with a mechanical stage to save you quite some time when putting your sample in position and look for the area of interest. 

We have selected a set of long working distance objectives with magnification from 4x to 40x, enabling you to observe and image from large areas of your chip up to single droplets. For better contrast, objectives from 10x to 40x have Phase contrast, sharing a single phase ring (Ph1) for an even easier use. 

The camera port located on top of the binocular tube, can be equipped with a C-mount adapter, available as an option.

Focusing is done by a 4-fold nosepiece and features a fine focus step size of 2 microns.

improved interpupillary distance of 48-75mm.

Motic’s new LWD Plan Achromatic objectives for inverted microscopes provide a clever concept for Phase contrast. One illumination ring (Ph1) covers the objective magnifications 10X, 20X and 40X. No need to move the Phase ring slider when changing the magnification.

A powerful and flexible illumination concept

All stand versions of the AE2000 carry a Fixed-Koehler setup. The 30W Halogen transmitted light source is mounted as standard and can be upgraded with 3W LED module, included in the microscope.
