Spin Coaters

We use these spincoaters to lay down uniform layers of photoresist like SU-8 onto silicon wafers for soft lithography. Hitting repeatable film thicknesses anywhere from 50 nm up to 100 µm requires exact control over your acceleration ramp rates and final spin speeds.

They are essential for making microfluidic master molds, but keep in mind that spinning highly viscous resists will inevitably create an edge bead that interferes with your contact mask alignment. If you need help matching a vacuum chuck to your odd-sized glass substrates, just tell me what you are working with.
