Microfabrication

Microfabrication is a powerful tool used in research allowing for the creation of complex micro-scale structures such as microfluidic channels and devices. It utilizes techniques such as soft lithography, polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), and Sylgard 184 to fabricate these structures with precision. Microfabrication enables researchers to control and manipulate materials at very small scales with high accuracy, allowing them to create designs that were previously impossible. Additionally, the use of materials such as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and Sylgard 184 makes for a much simpler process with fewer steps making it cost-effective.
