This open version of Fluidic 138 has 4 straight channels without a bottom lid. It is made of PMMA or COC and displays a double-sided adhesive tape to seal the chip. Mini Luer connections provide leak-free inlet and outlet tubing junctions.
General
This 4 straight channels chip is sold open, to allow manipulation before sealing it with the included double-sided adhesive tape. This tape thickness is approximately 140 μm and is delivered already mounted on the chip.
The chip can be loaded upside down using the handling frame from ChipShop. Once it is ready to be sealed, the tape protective foil has to be carefully removed and replaced with a thin foil or a polymer/glass slide, according to your needs. See the Documentation tab for more details.
Please note that the channel depth of the device mentioned in the Specifications tab consists of the initial channel depth of the molded part (200 µm) added to the thickness of the adhesive tape (140 µm).
