The Fluidic 134 Rhombic Chamber Chip by Microfluidic ChipShop features multiple reaction chambers with varying volumes, each equipped with two mini Luer inlets and outlets. Made from either PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate) or Zeonor (COP, cyclic olefin polymer), this chip offers versatility for various applications.
The rhombic chamber chip featuring various volumes on one chip is the perfect tool to help choose the right chamber geometry in the design process of integrated microfluidic devices. ChipShop chips are convenient, cost-effective, and reliable for all your experiments:
- Mini Luer connection molded with the chip: leak-free
- Highly-resistant and optically clear material: PMMA* (Polymethyl methacrylate) or Zeonor (COP, cyclic olefin polymer)
- Standard microscope glass slide size (75.5 mm x 25.5 mm x 1.5 mm)
- Hydrophilized on demand
- Lid thickness of 175 µm for the PMMA chips and 188 µm for the Zeonor chips
Rhombic chamber chips are the perfect tool to facilitate reactions in chemistry or biochemistry, such as the amplification of a targeted DNA during qPCR or the extraction of targeted molecules out of a given sample in preparative quantities.
These chips can, for example, be used as nucleic acid extraction devices via magnetic beads simply by applying beads and samples, and by using an external magnet to hold the beads in place.
