The Cobalt is a standalone pressure or vacuum controller, delivering a smooth flow at the highest accuracy for all your microfluidic projects. Based on Elveflow Mk4 technology, the Cobalt delivers a pulseless and accurate flow, controllable through a built-in interface. It also replaces the Elveflow AF1.
Available in two versions: 0 to 2000 mbar, and -700 to 1000 mbar.
General
The Cobalt is an autonomous pressure or vacuum controller based on the Elveflow Mk4 piezo technology.
- Precise pressure or vacuum control: delivers a smooth flow with the highest accuracy
- Intuitive user interface: built-in screen or Windows software
- Integrated pressure or vacuum pump: no external source is required
- Quick Connect reservoir connection: plug and unplug your reservoirs in a second
- Compact and standalone
Unique performance in a standalone system
The Elveflow Cobalt is available in two versions:
- 0 to 2000 mbar (pressure control)
- -700 to 1000 mbar (pressure & vacuum control)
When paired with an MFS flow sensor, the Cobalt generates a smooth flow with ultra-short settling times:
- high stability (0 to 5 ml/min range): repeatability from 3.5 nl/min (MFS2) up to 1 µl/min (MFS5) in water
- high accuracy: from 20 nl/min (MFS2) up to 10 µl/min (MFS5) in water
The Cobalt is the perfect system for a wide range of applications: lab-on-chip, bench test or characterization (chips, sensors, filters, etc), cell culture, etc.
