The Fluidic 537 Droplet Generator Chip by Microfluidic ChipShop features 4 identical droplet generator units for reliable and accurate droplet production, with Luer connections ensuring leak-free inlet and outlet tubing junctions.
It is available in PC (polycarbonate) or Topas (COC, cyclic olefin copolymer) for a wide range of applications. This chip can be treated to generate either O/W or W/O droplets.
General
The ChipShop chips are convenient, cost-effective, and reliable for all your experiments:
-
Luer connection molded with the chip: leak-free
-
Highly-resistant and optically clear materials: PC (Polycarbonate) or Topas (COC, cyclic olefin copolymer)
-
Standard microscope glass slide size (75.5 mm x 25.5 mm x 1.5 mm)
The droplet generator chip has independent inlets and outlets for each element. The single-cross geometry and Luer interfaces were specifically developed to be used in both pumping and suction mode. The chip contains four identical droplet generation units with a nozzle size of 38 μm.
This droplet generator chip can be untreated (hydrophobic surface) to generate W/O droplets or treated (hydrophilic surface) to generate O/W droplets.
