The Fluidic 1147 Droplet Generator Chip by Microfluidic ChipShop offers 4 droplet generation units along with monitoring chambers for storage and observation. Mini Luer connections for leak-free inlet and outlet tubing junctions.
Available in Topas (COC, cyclic olefin copolymer) or polycarbonate (PC) for a wide range of applications. This chip can be treated to generate either O/W or W/O droplets.
General
This chip allows both the generation of droplets and their observation on one single device. Droplets can be captured, monitored, and manipulated in the observation chambers downstream of the nozzle. It displays two chamber sizes, 6.8 or 8.5 µL, and two nozzle dimensions, 70 or 80 µm, to generate droplets of different sizes.
This droplet generator with monitoring chambers can be untreated (hydrophobic surface) to generate W/O droplets or treated (hydrophilic surface) to generate O/W droplets.
