The HUMIMIC HeatSupport allows to control independently the temperature of up to 4 HUMIMIC Chips. In addition to better control the environment for experiments, it also makes it possible to operate the chips outside the incubator.
General
HUMIMIC products by TissUse are key to simulate multiple organs and help advance pharmaceutical and cosmetic research.
When working with cells, it is important to rigorously control the temperature for reproducibility and standardization. This is often done by placing cell culture devices inside an incubator. However, it might be needed to change the temperature setting or take the cells out of the incubator to perform analysis like imaging.
The HeatSupport platform allows the independent control of the temperature of up to 4 HUMIMIC Chips. It is thus possible to maintain all chips at 37°C, simulate different temperatures in a single experiments or even apply temperature gradients. The temperature can be adjusted between room temperature and 42°C.
The bottom can be removed individually for each chip compartment for imaging purposes.
