The O2 optical flow-through sensor has been designed for real-time monitoring of oxygen levels in perfusion systems. It is made of stainless steel and has connectors for 1/16" steel tubing. The FTCM-PSt7 features a small inner volume of 2.1 µL, ideally suited for microfluidic applications.
General
The FTCM-PSt7 displays a T design, is manufactured in stainless steel and has an integrated oxygen optical microsensor. It features connectors for 1/16" steel tubing and a small inner volume of 2.1 µL, ideal for microfluidic applications.
The integrated PSt7 sensor allows real-time monitoring of oxygen levels thanks to its fast response time of t90 < 3 sec. in gas and < 10 sec. in liquids. It has a measurement range of 0 - 100% oxygen and a detection limit of 0.03% oxygen.
This sensor can easily be integrated into a microfluidic setup; it is non-invasive and does not consume oxygen for the measure. Additionally, the signal is not dependent of flow velocity and measurements can be performed both in gas and liquids.
This flow-through sensor is compatible with the OX-1 ST oxygen meter and is supplied with an optical fiber (2.5 m length).
