The Fluidic 1480 Double Emulsion Droplet Generator Chip by Microfluidic ChipShop is partially coated to enable W/O/W droplet-in-droplet generation. Mini Luer connections ensure leak-free inlet and outlet tubing junctions.
Manufactured in polycarbonate (PC) or Topas (COC).
General
This double emulsion chip comes with a specific partial surface coating that allows for the generation of W/O/W double emulsions, such as the inclusion of droplets or cells deriving from the first channel intersection in a further droplet shell at the second channel intersection.
This chip displays two units, each consisting of two flow-focusing crossings. The first crossing is not treated, to generate water-in-oil droplets. The second one is hydrophilized to generate W/O/W emulsions in a single step.
ChipShop chips are convenient, cost-effective, and reliable for all your experiments:
-
Mni Luer connection molded with the chip: leak-free
-
Highly-resistant and optically clear material: PC (Polycarbonate) or Topas (COC)
-
Standard microscope glass slide size
This W/O/W droplet-in-droplet generator chip has several inlets and outlets to fit all your experiments. Block unused inlets and outlets with plugs.
