Fluo-ST3 is a surface treatment that combines fluoroalkylsilane with a perfluorinated polyether solvent, known for its fluorophilic and hydrophobic properties. This clear, low-viscosity solution with low interfacial tension creates a consistent layer covalently bonded to treated surfaces, rendering microfluidic channel walls hydrophobic and fluorophilic. This treatment enhances droplet generation and stability in fluorinated oils.
Fluo-ST3 is compatible with Emulseo oils and surfactants.
