The IPC Low-Speed is a programmable peristaltic pump with a user-friendly digital interface. This multichannel pump ensures an accurate liquid flow from 0.4 µL/min up to 44 mL/min. Planetary gears, indeed, simultaneously control eight stainless steel rollers for a smooth rotation with a low pulsatility and high precision, required for microfluidic experiments.
Available with different pump heads from 4 to 24 channels.
This product is now DISCONTINUED. Check out the new IPC Low-Flow Multichannel Peristaltic Pump!
General
Ismatec, established in 1964, is now a leading reference in peristaltic pumps thanks to its offer of high-precision pumps. The planetary gears working principle of this multichannel pump decreases the level of pulsation and ensures a longer tubing life. Eight stainless steel rollers work simultaneously in a smooth rotation to create a stable and reproducible liquid flow.
The four-digit LED display allows you to monitor the flow rate or the rpm when the pump is running. You can easily increase the speed of the pump for priming or flushing your system by using the "MAX" button without any change in the programmed settings. Cartridges with automatic occlusion (Click’n’go™) provide a simplified use as well as reproducible results through defined and repeatable occlusion conditions.
The main difference between the IPC and IPC-N series is the flow range:
- 0.002 - 44 ml/min (per channel) for the IPC series
- 0.00039 - 11 ml/min (per channel) for the IPC-N series
Operating modes
From a computer (RS232, driver for LabView available) or on the pump, program the IPC peristaltic pump through the following operating modes:
- Pumping by drive speed (in %)
- Pumping by flow rate (ml/min)
- Factory-set flow rates for all available tube sizes
- Dispensing by volume (ml)
- Dispensing by time (0.1s up to 999hrs)
- Dispensing by volume within a pre-set time
- Interval dispensing by volume with a pause
- Interval dispensing by time with a pause
- Setting the number of dispensing cycles
- Pause time setting (from 0.1s up to 999hrs)
- Roller back-steps for drip-free dispensing
- Stand-by mode — prevents the tubing system from
- Drying out
- Reversible rotation direction
