The Rhombic Chamber Chips by Microfluidic ChipShop, made in PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate) Zeonor (COP, cyclic olefin polymer), feature lengthwise-oriented reaction chambers with multiple volume and chamber quantity options. Each chamber includes two inlets and outlets, alongside Mini Luer connections for leak-free inlet and outlet tubing junctions.

ChipShop chips are convenient, cost-effective, and reliable for all your experiments:
- Mini Luer connection molded with the chip: leak-free
- Highly-resistant and optically clear material: PMMA* (Polymethyl methacrylate) or Zeonor (COP, cyclic olefin polymer)
- Standard microscope glass slide size (75.5 mm x 25.5 mm x 1.5 mm)
- Hydrophilized or not
- Lid thickness of 175 µm for the PMMA chips and 188 µm for the Zeonor chips
Rhombic chamber chips are the perfect tool to facilitate reactions in chemistry or biochemistry, such as the amplification of a targeted DNA during qPCR or the extraction of targeted molecules out of a given sample in preparative quantities.
These chips can, for example, be used as nucleic acid extraction devices via magnetic beads simply by applying beads and samples, and by using an external magnet to hold the beads in place.
