The Fluidic 386 Chip by Microfluidic ChipShop is designed for particle and cell sorting using a sheath flow on the sample stream.
Available in PMMA or COP (Zeonor).
General
ChipShop chips are convenient, cost-effective, and reliable for all your experiments:
- Mini Luer connection molded with the chip: leak-free
- Highly-resistant and optically clear material: PMMA or COP (Zeonor)
- Standard microscope glass slide size
Sort your cells & particles to 3 outlets by applying a sheath flow through two side channels.
This chip being very sensitive to flow variations, it should be used with syringe pumps or pressure controllers. The velocity of the sheath flow should be significantly higher than the sample stream. The sorting can be done either by applying positive or negative pressure via the sampling channels at the end of the main channel.
- Lid thickness: 175 µm (PMMA) / 188 µm (COP)
- Channel depths: 10 µm (structure 1), 20 µm (structure 2), 30 µm (structure 3), 50 µm (structure 4)
