Nikon Ts2 is an inverted microscope with a very small footprint, and Darwin Microfluidics has chosen a configuration to meet your needs for your daily experiments in microfluidics.
Inverted microscope with binocular tube for transmitted-light brightfield and phase contrast, including a set of 4 objectives (4x, 10x Ph1, 20x Ph1, 40x Ph1), extra-long working distance condenser 0.3, mechanical stage and universal mounting frame. Camera port included (repartition 0/100 : 100/0).
Ready to work out-of-the-box, it is one of the easiest-to-use inverted microscopes. Camera not included.
General
In partnership with Nikon, we have designed a configuration of Ts2 dedicated to the common observing and documenting tasks in microfluidics. It can easily be coupled with a camera, and offers a nice entry-point in setting up your microfluidics lab.
It consists in an inverted stand Ts2 without any unnecessary accessories, enabling you to focus on your tasks with a microscope ready to be used out-of the box. The ELWD condenser lets 75 mm of free working distance to setup even complex experiments. The mechanical stage also provides a very precise manual positioning of your sample.
We have chosen a set of objectives with magnification from 4x to 40x, giving you the ability of seeing the common microfluidics objects, like droplets. For better contrast, objectives from 10x to 40x have Phase contrast, sharing a single phase ring (Ph1). It can also be used to check on your cells!
A camera port is located on the left-side of the stand, which lets a clear view on the stage and eases the access to your chip. C-mount adapter available as an option.
Key features
|
Faster, brighter images with LED illumination The LED light source is alignment-free, resulting in faster setup and consistent results. LEDs also eliminate frequent bulb replacements, saving the user time and money. The built-in fly-eye-lens ensures uniform brightness across the entire field of view. |
|
Streamlined Operation Control buttons on the Ts2 microscope are intuitively located for a streamlined workflow. On this version, only one on/off button used for Diascopic illumination is located at the front panel for easy reach, to eliminate confusion and improve workflow efficiency. |
Easy-to-use Mechanical Stage The high-performance mechanical stage can accommodate a wide range of flasks and cell culture chambers. The new stage design also directly accommodates well plates. In addition, the sample holder is easily removed to accommodate large flasks. |
|
Compact and highly stable body Illumination module has been seamlessly incorporated into the microscope main body, resulting in a compact and simple design form that's also durable. The compact structure is also vibration-resistant to provide highly stable sample observations. The camera port is located on the left side of the microscope to provide unimpeded viewing of the stage even when placed inside a culture hood. |
