The FASTCAM Mini AX are the highest performance high-speed cameras within the FASTCAM Mini series. With exceptional light sensitivity, excellent image quality and flexible region of interest (ROI), the Mini AX is available in 3 models - Mini AX50, Mini AX100 and Mini AX200 - respectively delivering 2000 fps, 4000 fps and 6000 fps at a resolution of 1024 x 1024 pixels (1-megapixel sensor).
The minimum exposure time of 1 µs makes it easy to capture fast events such as droplet generation in microfluidics.
The FASTCAM Mini AX cameras are available with recording memory options from 8GB up to 32GB.
General
The Mini AX high-speed camera delivers the highest performances within the FASTCAM Mini series. Easily mountable on a microscope, it has the best light sensitivity and image quality to capture fast events, such as droplet generation in microfluidics.
Three performance level models are offered, all with a 1-Megapixel CMOS sensor (1024 x 1024), global electronic shutter and 8GB, 16GB or 32GB of internal memory:
- Mini AX50: up to 2000 fps at full resolution, 170000 fps in 128 x 16, minimum exposure time of 1µs
- Mini AX100: up to 4000 fps at full resolution, 540000 fps in 128 x 16*, minimum exposure time of 1µs
- Mini AX200: up to 6400 fps at full resolution, 900000 fps in 128 x 16*, minimum exposure time of 260ns
*Subject to export approval
