The MCR-O1P1C1 is a compact multi-channel meter that can be used with oxygen, pH and carbon dioxide SensorPlugs from PreSens. It offers temperature compensation for each channel for more precise measurements. This meter is USB-powered and can be operated with the PreSens Measurement Studio 2 software.
General
This multi-channel meter is small and lightweight for easy integration in many applications. It has a channel for oxygen (0 - 100% O2), on for pH (5.5 - 8.5 pH) and one for CO2 (1 - 25% CO2) for monitoring of the three parameters simultaneously. It is compatible with the respective SensorPlugs developed by PreSens. To interface the SensorPlugs with the meter, it is required to use the SMA-ST Adapter and the ST Polymer Optic Fiber.
Each channel of the MCR-O1P1C1 has separate temperature compensation, for precise measurements even in environments with changing temperatures. It also displays pressure and salinity compensation.
The meter is USB-powered and is operated with the PreSens Measurement Studio 2 software, which can control several devices simultaneously.
The complete setup for PreSens technology includes a meter, a sensor, and relevant accessories including the optic fiber. These components can easily be integrated to any microfluidics and organ-on-chip experiments.
Optical sensors offer several advantages that render them particularly well-suited for controlling small sample volumes:
- They are small
- The signal does not depend on the flow rate of the sample
- They allow for non-invasive measurement
