The Fluidic 923 chip manufactured by ChipShop is a multi-organ-on-a-chip platform displaying four connected chambers to culture cells and study the interaction between them. The inlets and outlets with integrated Luer connections ensure leak-free junctions to the tubing.
General
This chip is a multi-organ platform featuring a total of four interconnected cross-flow membranes to establish complex organ-on-a-chip models. Each membrane has a pore size of 8 µm. The chip has the format of a standard titer plate to ensure compatibility with existing laboratory equipment.
The multi-organ chip displays one large chamber and three smaller chambers. The four chambers are interconnected through the microfluidic circuit on the upper part of the chip, for continuous perfusion. On the lower part of the chip are displayed two additional microfluidic circuits. The first one can be used solely for the largest chamber and the second one ensures connection between the three smaller chambers.
- Luer connections molded with the chip: leak-free
- Highly-resistant and optically clear material: COP (Zeonor)
- Standard titer plate size
