Organ-on-a-chip is an innovative technology that enables more effective and precise research in disease modeling and drug development. Unlike traditional two-dimensional (2D) cell culture systems, this microfluidic device replicates more closely the native tissue environment of organs, providing a more robust and reliable platform for testing the effects of drugs.The Organ-on-a-chip technology allows the co-culture of several cell types and utilizes microfluidic circuits to flownutrients and oxygen to mimic the dynamic behavior of organ physiology.

It gives you the ability to reliably observe the behavior of living cells under physiological conditions and get more accurate in vitro model.
